Dorset Chilli - Ancho Grande Chilli Powder

Ancho grande is Mexico's favourite chilli pepper. Weighing in at around 1500 SHU (Scoville Heat Units) its in the mild category. Large pods around 10cm long and 6cm wide, triangular in shape, thin walled rich in flavour. Soft and spicy. Here our lovely powder is earthy and adds depth as well as heat and taste to your dishes. One teaspoon of powder is equivalent to a pod.
