Maverick - Caramelised Shallot, Garlic & Habanero Chilli Sauce

This sauce has almost 30% habanero chilli, and boy is it tasty. It's semi thick and has a nice texture which sits up on a spoon. This versatile sauce can be used for Bloody Mary cocktails to smashed avocado with poached eggs brekkie, its a medium heat, semi sweet from the plum tomato and caramlised shallot, with the garlic coming through at the end like a good sriracha would. A thumbs up from us and one of a few hot sauces in the UK to actually win a screaming mimi award in New York City's competition.

The ingredients are kept simple, Habanero Chilli (27%), Plum Tomato, Cider Vinegar, Echalion Shallots, Garlic, Demerara Sugar, Tomato Puree, Rapeseed Oil, Sea Salt. See images for nutritional information.
